Orange Thyme Broiled Salmon

This has become one of David's favorite Sunday meals. It has a tang to it that just makes your taste buds dance. Love it! Love it! Love it!

Ingredients:
1 pound salmon fillets
1/3 cup orange juice
1Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried mustard
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
¼ tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Resealable gallon size bag

Directions:
1)In a resealable plastic bag, combine everything except the salmon.
2)Add salmon fillet, turning to coat. Refrigerate 20-30 minutes.
3)Remove salmon and discard marinade. Broil fish for 10 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Side suggestions: Rice, steamed veggies, rolls
Tip: This dish is also delicious cooked on the grill!

You really don't know how much Dave has grown to LOVE Salmon! Whenever it's on sale we stock up! I have about four pounds of it in my freezer right now! I will try this tomorrow night! He'll be so excited! Thanks! And... I love this background! It's great for fall. :)

  3. Emily,
I tried this and it was really yummy. I do think the longer the marinading happens, the better result you'll get. I only let it marinade for 20 minutes, because I was in a hurry. The flavor wasn't so strong, but still there. I want to try again with a longer marinading time. I love Salmon. Thanks for the recipe!
