This casserole is too die for! It's a family recipe from my husband's side and I made it for a big breakfast last year for the first time. Everyone loved it! I want to make this a tradition in our own home. :) Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
Christmas Morning Casserole
Christmas Morning Casserole
6 slices of bread, cubed OR 12 slices crumbs
1 lb sausage, cooked, crumbled, & drained OR 1 lb ham, cubed
1 1/2 c grated cheese
6 eggs
2 cups milk
salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp regular mustard
Mix first three ingredients in a 9x13 pan. Mix together last 4 ingredients & pour over bread mixture. You can make this the night before and put it in the fridge, then cook it Christmas morning. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes.

My oldest said when she ate this: "We should have this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!" We actually did do that, among other sides. It is really yummy....P.S. I forgot to put the mustard in mine, and I used ham. It still turned out great!
