Barbecue Ribs

This recipe is from Cleo Marshall. I actually used bone-in pork chops for this because I was on the hunt for a new pork chop recipe and this is what I found. It's actually a crock-pot recipe, but I adapted it for the oven last night since I didn't have 6 hours to cook. It's very tasty, but I added **3 cloves of freshly pressed garlic, and next time, I think I'll cut back on the honey and brown sugar or add a bit more salt. Nevertheless, these turned out moist and FULL of flavor! Yum!

3 lbs. country style pork ribs
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
**3 cloves minced garlic

Original directions:
Place ribs in the bottom of a slow cooker. Cover and cook 3 hours. Reduce heat to LOW. In a bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour over ribs in slow cooker. Cook another 3 hours. Makes 8 servings.

Adapted directions for oven:
Mix all ingredients for sauce in a large Ziploc bag. Place pork in the bag and marinate for 25 minutes in the refrigerator. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Dump all contents of the bag into a large baking dish, cover and bake for 50-60 minutes until meat is thoroughly cooked.
Enjoy!
